The course will be presented in English using the EMTP software Version 4. The participants can use computers to follow presentations and to perform various exercises. Temporary software licences will be provided to all participants.
Although the course is based on performing simulations with EMTP, the presentations are on real-world problems on power system transients. The participants will learn and gain knowledge on power system transients, from basic to advanced levels.

Training structure:

The duration of the training is 2 days.
The training starts at 8:30 am and ends at 5:00 pm every day.
Lunch breaks are from noon to 1:00 pm.

In case of cancellation three weeks or more before the beginning of the training, the participants will not be charged.
In case of cancellation less than three weeks before the beginning of the training, Powersys will charge the participant 50% of the training fees.
