Western Protective Relay Conference

The Western Protective Relay Conference (WPRC) is an educational forum for disseminating, discussing and networking on broad and detailed technical aspects of power system protection.

The 2017 program has been tailored to bring you the latest technologies in power system protection and the experience from their recent applications in the field. The papers cover everything from the new communications technologies and standards to the latest application of traveling waves. The applications cover everything from the traditional generation, transmission and distribution to the new developments of distributed generation and microgrids. As the electric power grid is rapidly changing, WPRC aims to bring you the latest in how the engineering of protection is adapting to the new environment.

Over 500 individuals attend from around the world. WPRC has hosted attendees from 45 states, Canada, Mexico and 29 other countries.

Visit us at booth #28 from October 17th to 19th. Our development engineer Henry Gras will be glad to introduce you the new Protection Library and all the simulation capabilities of EMTP.
