Insulation coordination studies related to lightning over-voltages with EMTP - Lyon
The objective of this course is to provide the participants with a good knowledge of insulation coordination studies related to fast-front over-voltages. Participants will learn the theory and principles at the base of this type of Insulation coordination studies, modeling techniques and how to use EMTP models. Moreover, they will learn how to conduct these studies in accordance with the standard IEC 60071.
The course is based on the usage of EMTP for demonstrating concepts and teaching through practical problem cases. After the course the students will be able to understand the concepts presented in the IEC 600071 for fast front over-voltages and to perform insulation coordination studies related to lightning with EMTP using a simple practical modeling.
The duration of the course is 2 days.
The course starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. every day.
The course is presented in English.
